Chromium ARM

UPDATE 2: UPDATED TO INSTALL CHROMIUM 55, NOT 53

UPDATE 3: FOR BETTER VIDEO PLAYBACK, USE THE CHROMIUM IN RASPBERRY PI REPOSITORIES

Hello. Here is an installer that installs latest Chromium onto ARMv7 Linux

Create a new file called install-chromium-arm.sh and put the following into it:

sudo cp /usr/bin/chromium-browser /usr/bin/x-www-browser

sudo cp /usr/bin/chromium-browser /usr/bin/gnome-www-browser

Then Save the file and type into the terminal:

sudo chmod +x install-chromium-arm.sh

./install-chromium-arm.sh

    1. Chromium ARM (my project) is discontinued. I was updating the script and there were too many errors. And you don’t need it anymore, as you said, you can just do sudo apt-get install chromium-browser.
