Alexa adds support for Outlook Calendar

Previously, you needed a Google Account to use the calendar feature. Well, not any more! Amazon added support for Microsoft Outlook Calendar to its AI assistant.

You don’t even need to update your Alexa app to access support, though updating will solve any encountered problems. I couldn’t enable Outlook Calendar from my iPhone, so I enabled it from my hudl instead, which had an up to date Alexa app, whereas my iPhone didn’t.

Just go to Settings/Calendar and then add a Microsoft Calendar in your Alexa app or at alexa.amazon.com.

Then say “Alexa, what is on my calendar” (Doing it right now). Your Microsoft Calendar should be read out. Access your calendar at outlook.com.

Enjoy!
