How to fix “plugged in not charging” on Windows 10

What should I do if my PC is plugged in and not charging?

Is my PC plugged in not charging?

Hover your cursor over the battery icon batteryicon and if you see the following message:

plugged in, charging,

this means your PC is charging. If your PC is plugged in and the message says fully charged then your PC has full charge.

If you see:

plugged in, not charging.

Then your PC is plugged in, isn’t losing or gaining any charge. Here is how to fix.

Right click on the battery icon and click Power Options. Control panel should start. Choose Power Saver and unplug and plug your PC in again.

Once PC is fully charged, switch plan back to the one you were previously using!

Hope your problem is solved!
