If a button is faded out in Windows, what should I do? (sometimes problem occurs even with Linux)

What should I do if a button I am trying to click is faded or greyed out?

If, for example, you are copying and pasting, and the button you need to click is faded or greyed out, then you can’t  do the operation, then you haven’t copyied the item yet, or if using an installer, you may of not accepted the licence agreement. Figure out what is wrong and solve it.
