Should you ignore dependency errors on Debian

There may of been a time when you used dpkg to install a package and you get dependency errors. This is extremely annoying. But you may of ignored it.

If you try to install a package with apt-get you may be nagged to run sudo apt-get -f install. Run it and it may install the missing packages… or it may remove the package you tried to install with dpkg. That is why you shouldn’t ignore dependency errors on Linux.
