A possible reason why Microsoft didn’t release “Windows 9”

In late 2014, Microsoft revealed that Windows 10 was going to be the next version of Windows. People were wondering “What happened to Windows 9?”

Here is a possible reason of why it isn’t called Windows 9!

Because lots of programs will identify Windows as Windows 95 or Windows 98. This will be bad if you try to open Chrome or something and it has a minimum OS version requirement (Chrome requires Windows 7 or newer).

Hope you now know a possible reason for why there is no Windows 9!
