What version of Microsoft’s Operating system should you be using.
Windows 10:
You are using Microsoft’s latest OS. It will be years and years until Windows 10 support ends
Windows 8.1:
Still supported. Won’t be supported for as long as Windows 10, but still supported and will be for a long time.
Windows 8:
Support ended for Windows 8 at the start of 2016. To continue receiving support, update to Windows 8.1.
Windows 7:
Mainstream support ended. Extended support has not ended. It will be years until Extended support ends for 7.
Windows Vista:
You should consider an update to a newer version, Vista extended support ends on 11th April 2017.
Windows XP:
Extended and mainstream support ended in 2014, consider an update.
Lower than that:
Your version of Windows is not supported, mainstream or extended.
Hope you know how secure your Windows version is!
