Chromium v48 is great, but you may want a more up to date version so security is better and you get more features. Here is how to install Chromium v51 on Raspbian Jessie.
The How to install Chromium v48 tutorial only works on Pi 2 and Pi 3. However, this guide applies to Pi 1, Pi 0, Pi 2 and Pi 3 users.
Open up the Terminal and type:
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install chromium-browser
Open Chromium and then visit html5test.com. You should see that Chromium scores about 487 points.
